Her parents were Thomas Keogh (ironmonger) and Ann Rourke (Rook). The marriage witnesses were John Stamp and mary Ellen Porter.

In 1885 a notice appeared in the Brisbane Courier (1864-1933) Saturday 19 July, 1884, p.2 that stated:

In the Supreme Court of Quweensland - In solvency
JOHN THOMAS ROYLANCE, of Gympie, in the Colony of Queensland, Timsmith, was adjudged insolvent on the eighteenth day of July, 1884. The first meeting of creditors will be held at the office of the principal registrar, Supremee Court, Brisbane, on the thirty-first day of July, 1884, at elevent 0'clock in the forenoon.
Until the election of a trustee, all persons having in their possession any of the effects of the insolvent must deliver them, and all debts due to the insolvent must be paid to Geroge Henry newman, Esq., the official turestee in the estate. Creditos must forward their proofs of debts to the official trustee. George Down (Deputy Registrar). Wilson & Wilson, Queensland Street, Brisbane Town Agents for Horace Tozer, Gympie, Solicitor for the said Insolvent.
